Getting started
Start testing website copy or designs in less than 5 minutes.
1. Provide a URL
For A/B tests, submit the URL of a page with your target text element. Cline fetches the text from there. For split tests, just provide a base page URL.
2. Create experiment
For A/B tests, choose one text element to test per experiment. For multiple elements on the same page, create additional experiments. This step is not required for split tests.
3. Install tracking script
Place the Cline script between the <head> and </head> tags on your site. This enables Cline to present various variants to visitors. Or, easily link a Webflow site with a few clicks.
4. Add variants
For A/B tests, use generative AI to quickly create five text variants. Edit them manually if needed. For split tests, manually generate page URL variants.
5. Start experiment
Set a conversion goal before starting your experiment to track success directly from the experiment page. Once you've created more than one variant, Cline will begin serving them to your visitors, allowing you to monitor and analyze how each variant influences the achievement of your conversion goal.
